February visitors

With Paul away in the Sierra Leonean sun, Joke, Jos and Jorien, friends from Wemeldinge, came to keep Ellen and the kids company for a long weekend. As always when the Bol family visits, the weather was pretty good and they got to explore a bit around the Shannon area. We visited the folk park and Bunratty Castle, which proved a great hit with everybody. It was great to have them over, the girls adored having a big friend, Jorien, around to play with and look up to, and Finn enjoyed the extra attention too.

Bezoek in februari

Met Paul in zonning Sierra Leone in februari, kregen de thuisblijvers bezoek van Joke, Jos en Jorien. Het was lekker weer, zoals bijna altijd als de Bolletjes in Ierland zijn, en dat gaf ons de kans om wat nieuwe plekjes in onze ‘Shannon Regio’ te ontdekken. Bunratty Kasteel was erg leuk om te bezoeken – een echt kasteel waar we binnen in konden rondkijken, en een hoop leuke huisjes in oude stijl.

Ik geloof dat Joke en Jos hun ideale zomerhuisje hebben gevonden! De meiden vonden het heel spannend om een ‘grote vriendin’ (Jorien) op bezoek te hebben, en Finn vond alle extra aandacht ook fantastisch.
