Halloween

On our last trip home to Monaghan we picked up some fireworks and invited some friends around to celebrate Halloween. We built a fire around the front of the house, got dressed up and told our best scary stories. All the kids loved the fireworks (everything went into the air which should go into the air and everything sparkled when it was meant to sparkle). Finn took it all in his stride, falling asleep beside the fire. Poor Boo Boo got a bit emotional at the end of the night – too much sugar and too little sleep.

Halloween

Eind Oktober was het Halloween, het feest met heksen, pompoenen en ‘trick-or treating’. We hebben een kinderfeestje gehouden met vuurwerk en een kampvuur in de tuin. Iedereen was verkleed, Eva als henks, orla pompoen, Paul als een eng geitenmonster en Ellen als spook. De kinderen vonden het vuurwerk prachtig (en wij waren erg blij dat het allemaal precies afging zoals het moest). Finn vond het allemaal prima, hij vond het kampvuur prachtig en viel uiteindelijk in zijn buggy in slaap.
